Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.

Chappaqua and Pleasantville fire departments responded to a fully-involved structure fire at the intersection of Bedford Road and King Street on Saturday morning. Crews worked diligently to contain the fire and safely evacuate neighboring properties. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and fortunately, no injuries were reported.

A tree fell onto a residence on Bilmar Boulevard in Pleasant Valley on Friday, displacing two adults and children aged between three and eight. The Red Cross is providing assistance to the affected family, and for those interested in offering support, the Red Cross can be reached at (800) RED-CROSS.

Emergency repairs on the South Broadway overpass, damaged by an oversized tractor-trailer on Aug. 31, have been successfully completed. The closure, the longest in the bridge's history, allowed for essential repairs. The incident highlighted the

importance of adhering to the bridge's clearance height of 14 feet, as the involved truck exceeded this limit at 17 and a half feet.
