News 12 was told Dillon Ortiz was driving north in a BMW on Wednesday when he passed a dump truck and crossed over into the southern lane, hit a car and landed in a wooded area.

A crash in Orange County left a Haverstraw man dead and another person injured.
Police say it happened on State Route 293 in the Town of Highlands.
News 12 was told Dillon Ortiz was driving north in a BMW on Wednesday when he passed a dump truck and crossed over into the southern lane, hit a car and landed in a wooded area.
Police say he had a serious head injury and later died at Westchester Medical Center.
News 12 was told Dina Vasto, from New Jersey, was a passenger in the pickup truck.
She was treated at the hospital for a broken leg.
The driver of that truck was not hurt.
