Calls are growing for President Donald Trump's removal from office in the wake of this week's chaos and violence at the Capitol.
Seven Congress members joined New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio Saturday in calling for President Trump's removal from office.
They are calling on his cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment. In the Hudson Valley, people rallied at the VFW Plaza in Hastings Saturday to call for Trump's impeachment in the final days of his term.
House Democrats plan to introduce articles of impeachment Monday, with a vote as early as Wednesday. If Congress moves forward, Trump could be prevented from running for president again in 2024.
In the meantime, he's prevented from posting to Twitter. The company says it has permanently suspended his account, citing a "risk of further incitement of violence."
