Rockland sheriff and probation departments will be going to the homes of sex offenders to make sure they?re not out while children are trick-or-treating, county officials said.

Under the curfew, sex offenders are also not allowed to participate in any trick-or-treating activities.

Officials say those who violate the curfew will be put on probation.
