People across the country are preparing for the two biggest events of the month: the Super Bowl and Valentine’s Day.
It’s not just hot dogs, pizza, nachos and dip for Super Bowl parties people are shopping for. Chocolates and flowers are also among the items on shopping lists.
Stew Leonard’s manager Christian Cruz describes it all as crazy.
“We have a lot of customers buying for the Super Bowl and buying items for Valentine’s,” says Cruz.
Shopper Stephanie Trchala says they’re just having family over for their Super Bowl party.
“We’re gonna be having wings, chicken tenders, shrimp cocktail and just things like that,” says Trchala.
With the collision of the Super Bowl and Valentine’s Day, Stew Leonard’s has a special promotion: Halftime and Hearts.
Ardsley resident Anthony Friedman says he wanted to get something “extra” for his wife.
“Cause she’s the most wonderful woman in the world, my life partner,” says Friedman.
There are plenty of things to choose from like chocolate covered strawberries, cakes and the perfect floral bouquet.
Whether you are concerned about the endzone or hoping to not end up in the friend zone, this weekend has a celebration for everyone.
