The hot weather didn't stop a group of volunteers from helping build a home Sunday for Habitat for Humanity.
Volunteers worked to finish the home on High Street in Yonkers.
Atlice and Con Ed helped with the project along with students from Tuckahoe High School.
Advisor Joanne Ornstein says almost half the school is part of the group.
For their hard work through the year, the Tuckahoe High Schoolers were the grand prize winners in Altice Connects Charity Champion Program.
Altice is the parent company of News 12.
