Guide: Going to the US Open? Here’s all you need to know about parking & transportation

The U.S. Open is being held at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Flushing Meadow Corona Park in Flushing. The area has made preparations ahead of the tournament, which runs from Aug. 22-Sept. 10. 
Thousands of spectators are expected, so please use the information and links below if you plan to attend.
The U.S. Open advises that using mass transit is the best option to attend.
TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS
Subway - The Mets-Willets Point station serves the U.S. Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Fans can always take either the local or the express to reach the Mets-Willets Point station.  After the last match at Arthur Ashe Stadium, additional 7 service will be provided at the Mets-Willets Point station throughout the U.S. Open, beginning Aug. 29.  
Long Island Rail Road - The LIRR provides direct service to the Mets-Willets Point station via the Port Washington Branch, which is just a 19-minute ride from Penn Station. The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is 17 minutes from Great Neck and 27 minutes from Port Washington. Fans traveling from Long Island on other branches can reach the US Open by changing trains at Woodside, which is a five-minute ride.
Uber/Rideshare/Car Service Drop-offs - Space for rideshare vehicles is limited - all rideshare providers, including black-car services will only have access to the area next to the New York State Pavilion. There is a direct walking path between the New York State Pavilion and South Gate. A complimentary shuttle is available for guests who need assistance to & from the South Gate.
Driving - GPS address is USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Use either the Grand Central Parkway Exit 9E or Whitestone Expressway Exit 13D or Long Island Expressway Exit 22B - College Point Blvd. From there you will directed by NYPD to the parking areas. Click here to map your trip.
PAID PARKING
When there is a New York Mets home game (known as a Conflict Date) guests will be directed to park in BLUE ZONE PARKING and ORANGE ZONE PARKING as directed by NYPD and parking lot staff. When there isn't a New York Mets home game (known as a Non-Conflict Date) guests will be directed to park in Mets Stadium parking, YELLOW ZONE PARKING as directed by NYPD and parking lot staff. Subject to change. (Vehicles: $40; Bus: $80) Parking is complimentary for Cadillac vehicles in all paid lots beginning on Monday, Aug. 28 (first day of Main Draw) Fans can also park at the Shops at Skyview, a short walk to the boardwalk with entry and exit away from Mets Stadium congestion. CONFLICT DATES
Due to schedule conflicts with the New York Mets, parking can be limited. We strongly recommend that all U.S. Open attendees utilize public transportation on specified conflict dates below. On the below dates, U.S. Open parking will be in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park within the BLUE AND ORANGE ZONES. Parking in adjacent Mets Lots will not be available. Shuttle transportation will be provided or it is a short walk from the parking areas. 2023 conflict dates include:
  • Friday, 8/25 - 7:10 p.m.
  • Saturday, 8/26 - 7:10 p.m.
  • Sunday, 8/27 - 12:05 p.m.
  • Monday, 8/28 - 7:10 p.m.
  • Tuesday, 8/29 - 7:10 p.m.
  • Wednesday, 8/30 - 6:40 p.m.
  • Friday, 9/1 - 7:10 p.m.
  • Saturday, 9/2 - 7:10 p.m.
  • Sunday, 9/3 - 1:40 p.m.
