Advocacy groups were in White Plains Wednesday rallying for women's rights.
The rally took place on the steps outside the White Plains Federal Courthouse, where a group of women fought for their right to choose.
Women from different organizations throughout New York were alongside state Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins. They say New York's law predate Roe Vs. Wade, and that women's rights are in jeopardy.

The group rallied for the Reproductive Health Act. Their goal was to create more political pressure on the Republican-controlled state Senate where the bill has failed for several years.

Some of the women rallying outside the federal courthouse said it wasn’t about politics or party views, but for giving women control and a choice.
