Students at a Greenburgh school are learning about Black history in a special way.
Richard J. Bailey students can see the foundational footsteps in Black history in the form of wall displays of inspiring historic figures and milestone moments.
The displays were put up at the start of Black History Month, and this is the second year the school has created The Black History Hall of Fame.
Between art class, music and more, it’s a history lesson seeped into different facets of this month’s curriculum - to remember the past and stride to the future.
Students say they hope the displays will last longer than this month.
The school says it is making sure that The Black History Hall of Fame remains on the walls until the end of the school year.
