The daughter of a former New York governor whose name was added to the Tappan Zee Bridge is sad to see it go.
Katherine Wilson Conroy is the daughter Malcolm Wilson. Gov. Wilson's name was added to the Tappan Zee bridge in 1994, 20 years after he left office.

Conroy now supports an online effort to have the name "Tappan Zee" restored to the new span. "Andrew Cuomo has removed Tappan Zee. And that's an offense to the history and geography of that bridge, and of surrounding areas."
Conroy says she will "not" be watching the demolition of the old bridge.
