Gov. Kathy Hochul joined the picket line of United Auto Workers in Rockland County today.

Members of Local 3039, along with many others across the nation, have been picketing since last month.

This chapter's facility is the only Big Three facility on strike in the state.

They are advocating for a fair contract and improved working conditions. Many of the workers on strike, as well as those who have been laid off, may be eligible for the union's strike pay of $500 a week.
