Gov. Kathy Hochul announced she has directed the state liquor authority to extend the deadline for special permits for the Buffalo Bills game this weekend.

The extension means sports, bars and restaurants can serve alcohol as early as 8 a.m.

The Bills will be taking on the Jaguars in London on Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
