Westchester County is holding a Gold Star Mothers Ceremony at the Kensico Dam to honor those who lost sons or daughters in service to the country.

The event is taking place at the Kensico Dam at 3 p.m.

Westchester County Executive George Latimer will also be in attendance, and the event coincides with the national observance of Gold Star Mother's Day this Sunday.
