A Port Chester family is still recovering after their home went up in flames

It took close to a dozen fire departments to knock down the two-alarm fire last week.

Fortunately, they were able to keep the flames from spreading to other homes and all five people living in the house were able to make it out safely.

The family went back to try to salvage anything they could, but they were forced to stay with relatives due to the damage.

A GoFundMe has now been set up for the family to help them rebuild their home.
