An event was held in Yonkers Sunday to make residents aware of primary day and the candidates running for office.
The candidates at the Get Out The Vote event urged residents to use their voices on primary day by voting this Thursday.
"It's so critically important that we get out the vote here in Westchester, particularly in light of the fact that there is so much at risk at this point in time. Our democracy right now is at risk and the law has been the firmest pillar of our democracy, but when democracy is under attack, you have to use the powers that you have, and the power that we have individually and collectively is the power of vote, so I urge everyone to come out and vote for Letitia James as the next attorney general for the state of New York, " says James
