The Westchester Board of Legislators officially has a new chairperson.

County Legislator Vedat Gashi (D) was voted in as board chair during last night's meeting.

Gashi currently represents the fourth district on the Westchester Board of Legislators.

He replaces Catherine Borgia, who stepped down amid allegations she mishandled claims that an ex-aide tried to solicit sex from a teen girl.
