Prosecutors say Jaswinder Singh was speeding when he slammed the truck into a row of cars that had been stopped at a red light on the South Service Road of the Long Island Expressway in 2023.
Joseph Kelly, 24, died on impact.
Singh was indicted for criminally negligent homicide and other charges.
