A gaming tournament organizer from Spring Valley is recalling some of the victims he knew who were injured in Sunday’s shooting in Jacksonville.

"I'm still in shock and I'm still processing that," says Kevin Mamouzette.

Mamouzette says one of the victims had reservations about traveling and leaving his family.

"He goes to the tournament and now he won't be back," Mamouzette says. "The sun rose today and those two guys aren't here."

But this tragedy won't stop Mamouzette from eventually getting back to gaming.

He says the next time he turns on his Xbox, he will pick up the controller with a heavy heart, hoping for his friends to recover, and remembering the lives lost.

Mamouzette says most of his friends are in stable condition.
