A Rockland community said their final goodbyes Saturday to a grandmother who was struck and killed by a car earlier this week.
Funeral services were held for Faith Leigh, who was killed by a car on Tuesday while she was crossing Route 202 in Montebello to get mail.
Many mourners came to Scarr Funeral Home in Suffern to remember the beloved 83-year-old.
Some are hoping for some changes to make the area safer in the wake of the tragedy, including getting lights and crosswalks and moving the mailbox to the same side as the homes.
