A former investment banker and medical taxi driver has made helping families going in and out of hospitals with children facing cancer his new life's mission.
Raymond St. John is planning to help families who need support by hosting a benefit concert with former Yankees star Bernie Williams at the Paramount Hudson Valley Center on Oct. 6. All proceeds will go to the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla and the Jaclyn Children's Cancer Foundation.
"They need emotional support, they need financial support, and without the outside community rallying around them, they just - they're not going to get it," says St. John.
In order to help make the biggest impact for children and families, the St. John Family Foundation needs sponsors for the fundraiser. The foundation needs an organization that can help raise as much money as possible, help spread the word and inspire everyone to give.
