Police have released the identity of the female murder victim found Wednesday near Rosewood Park.
Police say Stacey Inman was strangled, stuffed in a garbage bag and left near Bronx Boulevard and Rosewood Street. Now, as Inman?s family and friends mourn her death, they say they can?t imagine who would kill the girl that dreamed of being a nurse. Inman?s mother speculates that it had to be a mix-up with a stranger led to the death of her 24-year-old daughter.Inman had been living with her mother at East 224th Street after breaking up with her boyfriend in August. Inman?s ex-boyfriend expressed sadness, saying the two had remained close friends. He had also recently learned that she was pregnant with his baby.Inman?s cousin says the victim was last seen at a bodega near her mother?s home. The investigation is ongoing.
