Conservative Party members in Westchester are accusing leaders of their own party of using forged signatures to hand the party's endorsement to County Executive Andy Spano.
Westchester County Conservative Committee members filed a lawsuit Monday that seeks to throw out the party's endorsement of Spano. Westchester Conservative Party chair Gail Burns, in a written statement, called the lawsuit a "desperate attempt" by Republican county executive candidate Rob Astorino to "steal the Conservative Party line for his own election bid."
