A former Rockland legislator is vehemently denying a rape accusation from a female business executive.
High-powered attorney Sanford Rubenstein is accused of sexually assaulting a 42-year-old woman associated with Al Sharpton's National Action Network at his Manhattan penthouse.
The woman says she was unconscious and woke up during the assault that occurred after Sharpton's 60th birthday party last Wednesday.
Rubenstein, who has served as Sharpton's personal lawyer and confidant, has not been formally charged as police continue investigating.
