A former City of Newburgh mayor is helping during the COVID-19 crisis by making face masks for the public.
Nicholas Valentine is a tailor by trade, and served as Newburgh's mayor from 2004 to 2012.
He's now making 150 face masks a day at his store, Broadway Tailor, in Newburgh and is giving them out for free.
Valentine said during this time of crisis, it's a reminder that sewing is an essential service, and he's happy to help the public in any way.
