A former teacher has been deemed not fit to stand trial in a case tied to alleged threats following his firing in New Rochelle.
Samuel McVey has been remanded to Mid-Hudson Forensic Psychiatric Center, officials said.
McVey had previously been indicted on charges including grand larceny, criminal contempt, aggravated harassment and bail jumping.
Prosecutors say the case stems from threats made after he was fired from Isaac Young Middle School in February.
McVey is scheduled to return to court on July 24.
