A former Mount Hope town supervisor is heading to prison in a sexual abuse case involving a minor.
Chad Volpe was sentenced to 1 1/3 to four years in prison.
Volpe pleaded guilty earlier this year to attempted coercion. Officials say he admitted to threatening a person with physical injury if they did not comply with his demand to engage in sexual conduct.
Volpe served four terms as supervisor but did not seek reelection last year.
