Elizabeth Bracken Thompson, of Croton-on-Hudson, recently released More Than a Crown: From Pageants to Purpose, which chronicles her experiences competing in pageants, building a career in public relations and marketing, and overcoming significant health and personal challenges.
In the book, Thompson reflects on battling cancer twice, experiencing heart failure, and recovering from two car accidents. She says she hopes her story inspires others facing adversity to choose hope and persevere through life's challenges.
