Former Fordham pitcher Nick Martinez returned to the Bronx Tuesday night taking the mound at Yankee Stadium.
The 23-year-old is in his rookie year pitching for the Texas Rangers.
Martinez says he felt at home pitching in front of former teammates and coaches in the borough where he spent his college career.
He says as a freshman at Fordham he would use any free time to watch games at Yankee Stadium.
