Stop & Shop and Westchester County are teaming up to battle hunger during the Feeding Westchester Bee-Line Food Drive.
Donation bins have been set up at all 14 Westchester Stop & Shop stores until Saturday, Oct. 29.
A Bee-Line bus will be stationed at the Yonkers Stop & Shop store on Oct. 28 and Oct. 29 with the goal of "stuffing the bus" with much-needed items, such as stuffing, boxed macaroni and cheese, gravy, canned fruits and vegetables, and juice.
Feeding Westchester's hunger-relief network is serving more than 200,000 people each month. The need continues to grow, with 80% of Feeding Westchester's agency partners reporting that they're feeding more people and serving more food this year than last, and nearly 20% more food distributed than projected over the past several months.
