A Florida man faces charges in Dutchess County for murdering his in-laws.
Robert Buda, 34, was arraigned in county court Wednesday on counts including first-degree murder, arson, and aggravated cruelty to animals.
Authorities say Buda killed Paul and Jo-Ann Hait and their dog in January before setting fire to their house.
Buda, who pleaded not guilty, was taken to the Dutchess County Jail.
A motive for the murders has not been disclosed.
