Heavy rain across the region Friday left numerous Hudson Valley roadways flooded.
Parts of the Bronx River and Saw Mill River parkways were closed for hours due to the heavy rain and flooding.
Most of the BRP reopened by Friday evening, but that didn't keep traffic from backing up.
Parts of the Taconic Parkway also shut down, along with some local roads and lanes along the Hutchinson River Parkway.
