Flooding impacts homeowners, businesses and motorists in the Hudson Valley

News 12 is getting reports of flooding from viewers throughout the Hudson Valley.
A resident in Highland Mills reached out Monday morning saying she and her neighbors in the Lakeside Village Mobile Home development are stuck in their mobile homes on Lily Court due to floodwaters. News 12 went there and saw parts of the road heavily flooded.
“I wake up 9 a.m. and it’s like this and it goes higher and higher, so we’ll see what happens,” says Julio Caesar Morales.
Rescuers in Highland Mills were on the scene going door-to-door checking on residents.
In Sloatsburg, the parking lot of Jessie’s Bagels on Orange Turnpike was flooded as of late Monday morning. A car was seen stranded outside of the business in the middle of floodwaters. DPW crews were there trying to clear roadway debris and the road was closed to traffic.
Other viewers have reached out with photos and videos of flooding in Middletown, Monroe and the Town of Newburgh.
So far, News 12 has not received information from officials about any injuries or serious property damages because of the storm.
