Three people were rescued by first responders after a multicar crash in Yorktown on Saturday.

Firefighters say the accident sent two cars careening off the Taconic State Parkway into swift waters, ending up in a stream 100 feet off the road.

First responders were able to safely rescue all three people using a high line and a ladder.

The victims were taken to a nearby trauma center.
