Fireworks shows, landmarks light up NY to celebrate 70% vaccination milestone

State landmarks were lit up in blue and gold and fireworks displays were held across the state Tuesday in recognition of New York's major vaccine milestone.

State landmarks were lit up in blue and gold and fireworks displays were held across the state Tuesday in recognition of New York's major vaccine milestone.
The governor confirmed Tuesday that 70% of adults in the state have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine so far - the threshold at which most restrictions will be lifted.
A total of 13 landmarks were lit in blue and gold and 10 fireworks displays lit up the sky.
The following landmarks were lit in blue and gold to honor the milestone:
