Police are investigating the shooting of an off-duty firefighter in New Rochelle Sunday.

The victim, 24-year-old Keith Morris, told police he was getting dropped off around 1 a.m. at a municipal lot where his car was parked at. He says that's when a group of men robbed him of $5 and a cell phone. A struggle ensued and Morris was shot in the left buttock.

Morris didn't go to the hospital until about 11 a.m.
