A firefighter and five others were injured in a crash early Saturday morning.

Officials say the crash occurred just after 2 a.m. near the Cross Bronx Expressway and Jerome Avenue.

The injured firefighter was transported to Jacobi Medical Center in serious but stable condition. Of the other victims, two were taken to Lincoln Hospital, two were sent to Saint Barnabas Hospital and one was taken to James J. Peters VA Medical Center.

There is no word yet on the conditions of the other victims.
