Many doctors' offices are closed today in Rockland County after a fire sparked at a Hillcrest building overnight.
Fire officials say flames were discovered burning through the roof of the two-story building at the corner of Orchard Street and North Main Street. Investigators are looking into whether the fire may have been caused by workers repairing the building's roof earlier in the day.
Firefighters were able to put out the blaze fairly quickly, but numerous doctor's offices will be unavailable for some time. "I'm really worried about the patients, because I'm dealing with kids," says Dr. Lubin Augustin.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury.
