Fire damaged a home in Putnam Valley Monday evening.
Fire officials say flames broke out at the house on Peekskill Hollow Road around 8:30 p.m.
Three people inside the house at the time were able to get out safely.
It took more than a dozen firefighters more than an hour to extinguish the fire.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
