A fire broke out overnight in a Peekskill apartment building for senior citizens.
Flames broke out just before 11 p.m. at the Main Street building.
Firefighters say that upon arrival, they were met with heavy fire coming out of the windows of one apartment.
The entire building was evacuated as a precaution.
The fire was knocked down in about 20 minutes, and residents were allowed back inside.
No injuries were reported.
