Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is in
full swing, and News 12 is cooking up some local support for some of the hot spots that are
participating.
Oscar’s in
Blauvelt is a family run business that opened nine years ago.
Chef Oscar
Romano and his son work together to create fine Italian and Spanish
cuisine.
For
restaurant week, he is making some of his famous dishes. "My popular dishes
are the Alaska Pappardelle, homemade Pappardelle with Alaskan shrimp.
That's very popular, and we did this year, Veal Rollatini, Veal stuffed with
prosciutto and mozzarella, in a brown sauce served with homemade
fettuccini," says Romano.
Romano say
he added some of the Spanish dishes during the pandemic to help him stay
afloat.
Hudson Valley Restaurant Week runs
through Sunday.
