A troublesome storm will unravel over the region starting tomorrow morning and linger through the rest of the week.
From now through Friday 1-2 inches of rain will fall, possibly more in neighborhoods that experience more intense bursts of water.
Severe weather in the southeast is heading in our direction tonight. A coastal storm will form, and the winds will get gustier from the ocean. Frequent gusts from 20-30 mph will keep temperatures chilly for this time of year and also keep the atmosphere juiced with moisture.
While there will be moments where the wind and rain will be robust, it will not be a wind driven rain event through Friday. After Thursday morning, the weather will become more on and off than persistent. At the moment, the latest guidance suggests the weekend to be fair, breezy and slightly cooler than normal, but overall dry.
