Students from the Ferncliff Manor school in Yonkers time traveled to the "Roaring 20s" for their prom yesterday.
Kids at the School for Adaptive and Integrative Learning, or "SAIL," held their fifth annual prom at the Westchester Manor in Hastings-on-Hudson.
The class spent three months organizing the event and there was lots of food, music and dancing. "It's an incredible experience. They get to get dressed up, which they don't normally do, with ties and jackets, corsages. There is a special food, a DJ, and lots of fun and dancing for them inside," says SAIL's Stephan Madey.
The non-profit organization "Operation Prom" was instrumental in providing the prom dresses for the girls for their special day.
