Police: Fentanyl and crack seized in Poughkeepsie home

Authorities say Jerod Willis was taken into custody Thursday and a search of his residence on South Cherry Street found significant quantity of narcotics.

Dutchess County Sheriff's Office says they have arrested a Poughkeepsie man for selling fentanyl and crack.
Authorities say Jerod Willis was taken into custody Thursday and a search of his residence on South Cherry Street found a significant quantity of narcotics.
Willis has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree with intent to sell.
He was arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Court and remanded to jail with no bail.
Police search for Ridge Hill armed robbery suspect
Yonkers police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect of an armed robbery at Ridge Hill.
They say it happened here on Market Street, across from Whole Foods, Wednesday night.
Police say a suspect in a light-colored Toyota displayed a handgun and forced a 28-year-old man from the Bronx to hand over a piece of jewelry before fleeing the scene.
We're told the suspect and victim did not know each other.
No injuries have been reported
