A FedEx delivery driver was robbed in Dobbs Ferry Monday afternoon on Hillside Road, village police said.
The suspect, described as a Hispanic man, approached the driver, claiming to be the package recipient.
After a brief confrontation, he allegedly pushed the driver to the ground, stole the package, and fled.
An unknown driver in a black Honda Civic picked him up, heading toward Hastings-on-Hudson.
Police consider it an isolated incident with no public threat.
