The United States Food and Drug
Administration (FDA or USFDA) has scheduled meetings
in order to approve two
COVID-19 vaccines.
The agency has asked members
of its vaccine advisory committee to reserve Dec. 17
and 18 for meetings.
A source says those meetings
are to discuss Moderna's vaccine.
Another meeting has already
been set for Dec. 10, and will focus on Pfizer's
application for emergency use approval.
Both companies say their
vaccines are 95% effective.
