Raw oysters from Stellar Bay Shellfish in Canada could possibly be contaminated with the norovirus.
They were harvested from the British Columbia area and then shipped to restaurants and food retailers in at least ten U.S. states, including New York.
The product of concern includes oysters harvested between Dec. 22, 2025 and Feb. 4, 2026.
The recall covers Kusshi, Chrome Point, Stellar Bay, and Stellar Bay Gold Brand oysters.
The FDA is advising not to serve or sell and to dispose of the product, warning they may look, taste, and smell normal.
Norovirus symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, and stomach pain, and could be severe for those with compromised immune systems.
