Poughkeepsie police say a home was raided by the FBI and multiple agencies on Friday.
They and the Dutchess County's Sheriff's Office told News 12 this was an operation by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force.
Neighbors say they heard multiple loud bangs coming from the home at 6 a.m. They added they heard authorities calling people by name to get out of the house and get on the ground.
"It was concerning," said Chris Petsas, of Poughkeepsie. "At first, I thought it was a car accident.”
The FBI did not confirm any arrests. They also didn't respond to News 12’s request for comment.
