There is still no resolution as to the fate of two pet dogs accused of killing two pet goats earlier this year.
Back in September, Jason and Lauren Feldman's dogs allegedly climbed a 9-foot fence surrounding the home of Marie Harrow in New City, and killed two of her pet goats. Harrow says she is still haunted by the attack. The Feldmans have said that they are saddened about the attack, but they don't think their dogs Ty and Pink should be destroyed.
A hearing was held today at Clarkstown Town Court. The Feldmans' lawyer, the town attorney's office and the local animal control officer have been looking for ways to save them.
The animals have received a temporary reprieve as the couple was given permission by the court to have them evaluated by an animal expert to determine if they are dangerous. They have until Dec. 10 to get the evaluation done.
