4h agoWestchester County police have tentatively identified a Brooklyn woman as the victim of a one-vehicle accident on the Bronx River Parkway.
The incident occurred just before 4:30 a.m. on Sunday when a Ford SUV traveling southbound veered off the road near Exit 11W in Yonkers and collided with a tree, causing the vehicle to burst into flames.
The woman, who was in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
County police are awaiting confirmation of her identity through DNA or dental records.
