Family holds out hope for former Ardsley resident still missing in Florida condo collapse
Former Ardsley resident Judy Spiegel is among those still missing following the collapse of a Florida condo building on Thursday.
Family and friends of Judy Spiegel are hoping that that she will be rescued and safely returned to them.
"I really do believe that everybody's doing everything in their power, I think the city of Miami is doing that,” says daughter Rachel Spiegel. “But of course, everybody wants their family member, so time is of the essence."
The oceanfront, 12-story condo building is in ruins. Rescuers and firefighters have been working on the scene, battling flames and searching survivors among the rubble.
